My Best Tips and Tricks as a Disney Expert #3

Tip #3

Take food with you to Disney Parks!

Disney allows outside food into the parks in soft-shell containers (not coolers).

Freeze plastic water bottles the night before (the soft sided collapsible ones work great because they take less space as they empty), and take snacks (and even lunch), like fruit and veggies and other healthy options with you. (Don’t re-use aluminum screw-top beer cans that you’ll find in Florida for this. Disney Security will confiscate them! No frozen alcoholic beverages for you!)

The frozen water bottles will keep the snacks cool, and you can drink the cold water as it melts. (Pack the bottles allowing for condensation in your pack – they will get very wet!)

Spread the weight of the snacks and lunch out amongst a few back-packs worn by members of your group to keep the load light, and they will lighten throughout the day just when you need them to. And, the backpacks will be available to carry clothing you may shed during the day as it heats up, or to take your souvenirs home at the end of the evening.
