Disney’s EPCOT

EPCOT Park in Walt Disney World is a one-of-a-kind destination that celebrates the diverse cultures and innovations of the world.

EPCOT stands for “Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow,” a vision Walt Disney himself originally had for a ‘city of the future’ which he wanted to develop on the resort property as a working and living city where new urban development concepts could be designed, built and tested. That dream died with Walt, however the vision inspired the creation of the resort’s second park, which was given its name.

EPCOT park is meant to showcase cutting-edge technologies, inspiring cultures, and limitless possibilities through immersive attractions, dining, and entertainment options.

The park consists of two distinct areas: Future World and World Showcase. Future World features a range of innovative and interactive exhibits that inspire and educate guests about the world’s latest technological advancements. World Showcase offers a journey around the globe; showcasing eleven different countries in large scale pavilions that feature their culture, cuisine, music, and architecture. Pavilions are staffed with people from the country presented.

Visitors can indulge in a range of authentic and diverse dining options in each pavilion, shop for unique souvenirs, or enjoy live shows and performances. EPCOT allow visitors to experience human innovation and cultural inspiration in one place.
