My Best Tips and Tricks as a Disney Expert #5

Tip #5

WalMart for Souvenirs!

Almost all of the unique theme park merchandise and souvenirs are available at The World of Disney Store talked about in tip #4 and there are some really terrific offerings, but like all things Disney, they are pricey.

If you want to save on Disney branded merchandise (Admittedly it is a different selection, but will your 4-year old really know?), visit the local Wal-Mart Super Stores, which have Disney souvenir sections as large as their garden centers!

Plus, many of them are open 24 hours a day, so you can sneak in and grab your goodies while your little ones are asleep back at the villa under your significant other’s watchful eye!

My Background: Husband, Father, Grandfather – Disney Theme Park ‘Super’ Fan – Roughly 40 trips to Central Florida and Walt Disney World since 1997. Designer/builder with specific knowledge of theme park and attraction design, and history of Disney theme parks.
